Rhinoplasty, sometimes called a nose job, is a cosmetic surgical procedure that reshapes and sculpts your nose to achieve the look you’ve always wanted. In some cases, rhinoplasty can also improve your breathing. Like all surgical procedures, rhinoplasty requires a recovery period, so it’s important to understand ahead of time what to expect. To learn more about your Miami rhinoplasty, please contact Dr. Jon Harrell at the Weston Center for Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery today at (954) 526-0066 to arrange your rhinoplasty consultation.
The rhinoplasty procedure itself only lasts an hour or two, but you’ll need to make sure you schedule a few days’ recovery time to allow your nose time to heal. Typically, you’ll want to restrict your strenuous or aerobic activities for about two weeks, while you should refrain from contact sports or other high-impact activities for about a month.
Discomfort following rhinoplasty is usually minimal, but Dr. Harrell will prescribe pain medications to help keep you comfortable as you recover. We will also continue to monitor your condition for up to six months to ensure that your recovery goes smoothly.
Rhinoplasty can deliver a more youthful appearance with only moderate downtime. To learn more and to schedule your Miami rhinoplasty consultation, please contact the Weston Center for Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery today at (954) 526-0066 .
